Ever since I started at my new school I wanted to join in with some cooking. OK, not since the beginning but ever since I found out that the kids cook. Anyway, I mentioned it to the home ec teacher and this time she invited me to join the kids elective class tomorrow (we are making cookies). Of course this meant that I needed an apron.

I went and bought a black one with the intention of decorating it a bit. Now, I didn't do too too much seeing as this is for cooking and all (not that I ever wear aprons). I know that I made the pirate patch crooked, but I don't care. I did my best sewing it on by hand there at the corner of the pocket.

I feel like it is missing something, but I am not sure what....

EDIT: As per Annie's suggestion I ended up adding my name. I messed up a little as I pulled the film off the letter "B" but I think it still looks OK. I mean, I did the letters and some of the sewing with a fever and a bad headache so not too bad at all.

I've been watching The Tudors lately. It's a pretty good show. I seem to like historical dramas. haha I can't decide if I like The Tudors or Rome more. I knew more about Rome, but it seems like there were more inaccuracies. But, with both shows I've been looking up info and comparing how historically accurate they are.

For now that is all beside the point. The point of this post is about clothing in The Tudors. Oh. My. God. The costumes are BEAUTIFUL! OK, so not all of the dresses are to my liking, but they are quite awesome for the most part. I may be buying a corset shirt soon. The design of the cloths is just.... breathtaking. If you want proof, do a quick google search (or go here or here).

I went shopping today. I don't actually own a suit so I bought one! I saw one that I liked that was pinstripe, but it was a little smaller than I want. I got a plain black one though. Best thing - it's 3 pieces (jacket, skirt, pants) for 5000-yen!! I wish the pinstripe one was a size larger just so the arm and leg length was better :( Oh well, I have one suit now! haha

I made shirts with my friends today!

Mine is the black one (haha surprise). The "white fox" is the back and the other side is the front.

Two posts in one day - magic! Or well, I am taking care of business.

Anyway - I had these pants that I LOVE but they had some holes and stuff because they are all old and comfy. I finally decided to try and repair them, and then added some flair.

So - the front has three small yellow shooting stars at the top. There are two red hearts on the right leg and the left leg has a crescent of stars. The back: left side has SB with jewels and silver paint, the right has two hearts entertwined with a heart and some jewels above/below it.

Problem is - one of the small hearts fell off after I superglued it on (after the iron-on didn't work). It's on the back pocket. So, I need to think of something to put there and just haven't come up with anything yet.

Next up - finish my shirt design.

So, for Christmas I got some new jewlrey and stuff that I may wear to the concerts. But, more importantly, I got the jacket I ordered to wear! I didn't think it would get here in time, but it did. They tried to deliver it yesterday while I was out, but they came back today!
