Random work stuff
Today two of my students kept singing KanFuu Fighting over and over. They only knew the chorus though. And of course now it is stuck in my head. They are doing it for their sports day, which is why they were singing it.

Last week I was teaching weather - windy, cloudy, sunny, etc., Some of the kids added -y to other words and one said Johnny! So they started saying Johnny's.

Just something that made me smile.

Awww, hahaha. That's better than my nerdy, mouth-breather fangirl in my class, haha. When kids do it everything's so much cuter!

Aww, I love it when there is random Johnny's related things at work. It somehow makes the day much more bearable. Lately my teachers have been obsessed with asking me totally random things about K8 for some reason. All of the different grades seem to be into different groups so the girls come find me to fangirl over them (for 1-nensei it's NEWS, 2-nensei it's K8 and 3-nensei it's Arashi). XD

That's kinda funny that they are all different groups for each grade. I don't usually get random JE stuff so when I do its almost a shock.

Dude, it seems like you spend your life going to concerts. When do you actually WORK? XD

But yeah, that's adorable.
I had Sukiyanen Osaka stuck in my head ALL DAY except I don't really know the words. I tried to say them to my manager when she caught me humming, but she was clueless. Then I told a student who's from the Kansai area and she goes, "Oh! Yeah." :)
So apparently the words were correct, but rather meaningless to Niigata natives. Kansai-ben ftw. :D

Of course, the whole thing started when I handed something to our head teacher this morning and she randomly came out with "maido ari."

Since mid-April I have either been at a con or traveling somewhere every weekend except.... 3? I think. So, like 25 weeks of traveling, and I have more plans. I work during the week, travel on the weekend, and have nervous breakdowns daily. Except when I am traveling. Well..... OK, maybe sometimes then too.

Kansai-ben is hilarious. Some of my students will randomly throw out kansai ben. They like to say "nandeyanen!"

Yeah. Last year the kids would sing "Sorafune" a lot since it was so popular. It can be fun!
